For those studying for a four-year undergraduate degree, applications should be made in the second year of study.
On your first day, you will attend a range of workshops to develop your team-working and networking skills, as well as your commercial thinking. You will receive an introduction to our firm, showing you what makes us stand out from other law firms. After an overview of the recruitment process, complete with hints and tips from the Graduate Recruitment Team, you will get to know your Pathfinder colleagues on a more informal basis at an evening social event.
The second day is made up of shadowing sessions, where you will sit with a trainee or associate and observe work and life in our market-leading practice areas. These sessions will prove invaluable as you decide whether a career in law at Linklaters is right for you. You will also receive a ‘personal impact’ master-class. This workshop will equip you with all the necessary skills to be able to stand out from the crowd – a crucial skill when it comes to applying for vacation schemes. Pathfinder is designed to put you in the best possible position to secure a summer vacation scheme place with us. After attending the programme, you will automatically be offered the opportunity to attend an assessment day for the summer vacation scheme in 2018.
