Three weeks into the LPC, students come together for a short Gateway Programme to introduce them to the core skills they will need as a Trainee at Linklaters.
As part of your three week induction to the firm you will complete a five day programme to introduce you to topics such as: commercial awareness; global legal systems; research, analysis and drafting skills; and risk and project management.
Your training contract will comprise four six-month seats.
You may spend one of your seats in an international office: around two-thirds of our Trainees spend some time away from their home country.
You might complete one seat in a client organisation: around a quarter of our Trainees have the opportunity to go on client secondments.
Specific training within practice areas. Contentious course. Coaching by your Principals and Group Trainee Solicitor Partner. Opportunities for complementary experience through pro bono work.
This is your first professional role as a qualified lawyer.
Promotion to your first management role can happen four years after qualifying.
Partnership is open to exceptional performers who have been qualified for six or more years.
This role is for senior lawyers who take on additional leadership and practice responsibilities alongside Partners.
