Personally, professionally and financially, you will be rewarded well at Linklaters. We expect a lot from our people in terms of commitment and performance, so it's only fair that our salary and benefits package reflects your dedication.
A rewarding life isn’t just about money. We have our own doctor, dentist, physiotherapist and beautician on-site, as well as a newly refurbished fitness centre. There is also a subsidised restaurant and coffee bar. You can enjoy a variety of sports and social activities, from cycling to softball, and free or subsidised entry to exhibitions, concerts and movies. Our concierge service will do everything from finding you a plumber, or a holiday, to booking concert tickets, as well as offering you access to discounted shopping such as retail vouchers, car hire, and a variety of other products and services. We also support and encourage your involvement in pro bono, charity and community activities by giving you paid time off for voluntary work.
We provide funding for both the GDL and the LPC and provide a maintenance grant.

We pay at the top of the legal market with trainees starting on a salary of £39,000. On qualification, your salary currently rises to £61,500. Subsequent salary reviews occur annually and your earning power will reflect your performance and growing contribution to the firm.
In addition to your basic salary, you will also be eligible for a personal performance-related bonus.
We provide private medical insurance, income protection, life assurance (valued at five times your gross annual salary) and a worldwide travel insurance policy.
We are committed to pro bono, charity and community activities and you are entitled to take time off for voluntary work. You'll find more on this on our Corporate Responsibility section of the site.
We also offer an interest-free season ticket loan and have a subsidised restaurant.
You will automatically join a non-contributory pension scheme: although retirement arrangements might not be top of your priorities right now, this is an important and valuable benefit.
You are entitled to 25 days' annual holiday, as well as bank holidays.
With the level and intensity of work we're involved in, unpredictable hours are often a way of life – but it doesn't go unnoticed. After four years' service with us, you'll benefit from our time bank scheme. Through this, we proactively monitor and review working time, and make sure that associates whose work has caused most disruption to their lives have the opportunity to take additional leave.
We know that it can sometimes be difficult to manage personal day-to-day matters when you're busy at work. This is why we've introduced a concierge service, which will help you organise a range of domestic services, practical matters and even leisure activities. So whether you need to find a local plumber, want to buy a gift or would like to book theatre tickets, the concierge service may be able to help.
Unexpected situations can arise when you have children – if your normal childcare provisions are not available for example, this can make it difficult for you to meet your work commitments. In situations where this happens, we have an emergency childcare scheme in place that enables you to come to work with peace of mind.
We have a doctor and dentist on site too, so we try to make things as convenient for our people as we possibly can.
At Linklaters, we place a great emphasis on personal and social development and you’ll have the opportunity to become a part of many sport and social groups,. You’ll find a list of some of the groups below. However, if there’s something you’re interested in and we don't have a team in place, you can be confident we’ll be right behind you if you wish to establish your own group.
You will also have the option of receiving subsidised gym membership at a number of health clubs.
